Na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na... Anyway, we've just started our second year of media and in it we will be making another short film or alternatively we'll be doing a project that involves making two TV adverts, a magazine page and case cover and it will be super happy fun times. Since we totally reigned triumphant last year with our superglorious (if also poorly named) production "Robert", we'll likely be returning to live-action filmmaking. With new tasks/quests/specifications set out by the exam board, this year promises to include plenty of new features, so stay loyal.
If you're new to our media-blogging enterprises, you can find our previous blog at

Our first option is making a short film which we would be prepared for after our first year of making a film where we learned of certain pitfalls you can... fall in.
Ideas for a film:
- Film about a social recluse
- Sequel to Robert
- Something about insomnia
- A philisophical film that explores the idea of cogita ergo sum
- Androids^^^^
Our second option is creating a promotional campaign for a video game basically. We would need to make TV adverts for it, a magazine ad page and a game case cover. Problem with this is we don't know how to animate so we'd have to do a live action advert that somehow fits in with the game which is possible and has been done with quite a few games; although actually in fact, Valve, a prolific games company which has great advertising campaigns for its games recently released a free product called source film maker which allows you to make animations using assets from their games.
Ideas for a game:
- Zombie game because zombies are to gamers as vampires are to teenage girls
- ...
Well games are harder to develop ideas for so we'll come back to that in another post.
